25-year old Jaquie Goncher from Georgia, US, was paralyzed back in 2008, but managed to walk down the aisle on her wedding day
Jaquie was paralyzed from the waist down in a swimming injury. A spinal cord injury was sustained by her from her C5 vertebrae being fully shattered.
After her operation, physicians told her that she could not walk
When she got engaged to her -husband, Andy Goncher, she began getting physical therapy plus strenuous workouts at the fitness center.
Jaquie had one aim — to walk down the aisle on her big day.
Andy was anticipating his lovely bride to stand by his side, but the guests had no idea and were fully stunned.
After a year’s worth of effort, she reached her aim, and then some.
She managed to make it through the 4-hour-long service without wanting her wheelchair.
I needed to love my wedding with no wheelchair,” Jaquie said. “Walking down the aisle was amazing but truly standing and dancing for my whole wedding is what really mattered to me.”
